Build team skills as you build up yourself and your inner world in Camp Maayan’s newly revamped CIT program! Campers work together on both small and large projects, including fully renovating an activity room, as they learn to find their own strengths and compliment each other’s talents. A focus on outdoor adventures allows CIT campers to explore the world around them and their relationship with it, while working together in a variety of environments. 

Turn the teamwork building of last summer into a springboard for leadership, as campers lean into their individual strengths to run programs both for each other and for younger campers. TCs are given the opportunity to develop their leadership skills in a variety of settings, including being responsible for Camp Maayan’s Erev Shabbos program, in which TCs run a musical center, salon, toameha, and Tehillim mechulak for the entire camp. Outdoor activities further encourage campers to deepen their collaborative and leadership skills, and to connect more fully with themselves and their inner worlds. The program culminates in a solo overnight experience, in which campers are empowered to dive deeply into themselves and their relationships with each other, Hashem, and the Jewish people.
